We run programmes that improve self-confidence, self-esteem and enhance the social skills of young people. Our philosophy is that by intervening early, more serious mental health issues can be prevented in young people.
The Wellbeing Programme
The Wellbeing Programme consists of ten students taking part in a twelve week programme that combines an educational approach with the influence of some cognitive behavioural therapies.
Our aim is to intervene early and prevent future mental health issues in the group, and create stronger family relations as well as stronger communities.
The Heritage Programme
We have devised a programme of study for year 6 groups that combine drama, art and creativity; with cultural visits and highly creative personalised responses in order to help build Self-Belief in preparation for secondary education.
It's important that our youngsters are prepared for change, and our programme gives them an insight into what to expect at the 'big school'.
The Employability Programme
There is growing evidence to show that many young people struggle to find work or access training because of low self-esteem.
Our programme combines working on their literacy skills, their employability skills and their low self-esteem, to give them the self-belief and confidence that is needed to get into training or work.
The Environmental Programme
Our Environmental Programmes help young people develop a better connection with their peers, their communities and it gives them a way of improving their own and other people's lives for the better. Giving young people a voice and an understanding of the environment is a brilliant way to awaken their appreciation that they can put their ideas into a form of social action. In collaboration with the Royal Society of Arts our mission is to promote the need for young people to be involved in the democratic process.
