The Moorside 'Bridging the Gap' Youth Employability & Aspirations Programme
The ‘Moorside Bridging the Gap Youth Employability & Aspirations Programme’ was designed to raise the career-based aspirations of young people from Moorside in Consett. This programme was kindly supported by Point North and completed with Year 5 and 6 from Moorside Primary Academy.

Once again our fabulous Chair, Dr Hugo Minney has completed the Great North Run on our behalf. The Great North Run is a spectacular event for the whole region and it is so brilliant to see so many people running on behalf of so many charities.

Building Self-Belief presents our film about Consett Steelworks Past and Present. Go on a journey with Alan Swinburne and Peter Shaw as they talk you through how Consett used to look when the steelworks dominated the landscape, and compare it to how it looks in 2025.
